A lot controversy have been surrounding the 2009 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, but one thing is for sure, Memory is fragile so let state some facts about Cardiff-born Ryan Giggs:
Since his United debut at Old Trafford on 02 March 1991, Ryan has scored 151 goals in 821 appearances, surpassing Sir Bobby Charlton’s previous record. He’s the only player to have scored in every Premier League season.
He has won 11 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cup winners' medals, 3 League Cups, 2 Champions League trophies, and 1 FIFA Club World Cup.
Nevertheless, the game has changed a bit since his debut. Nowadays it seems to be dominated by greedy players. So it's quite refreshing to see a talented, true professional who shows a lot of loyalty and humility.

Is the reinforcement really necessary?
Consistency is what we´ve been missing lately, and probably it's the key word. Mixed fortune for Ben Foster and Tomasz Kuszczack make Manchester United looks very shaky at the back.
But apart from his clumsy celebration on Saturdays wins at Upton Park, Tomasz Kuszczack is showing a more mature approach of the game, perhaps in the time he spent on the bench he manage to make some significant changes, and now I’m starting to see him as a really contender for Edwin Van Der Sar.
A lot have been told about transfer targets, and the most obvious candidate is Manuel Neuer. The Schalke 04 goalkeeper already managed to outshine the promising Ben Foster when they played on the final of UEFA Under 21 Championship. Hence, if any move is made it will lead to an imminent transfer for any of the current goalkeepers at the club.

Another test for youth?
With the latest injuries woes in the defense, it is about to be an steamy test for Manchester United on December 8 when they will visit the Volkswagen Arena to play Wolfsburg FC.
Vidic’s could probably return if recovers from a flu on time, and still Michael Carrick could play alongside him. We might even see the Belgium-born Ritchie De Laet on the squad. A powerful shooter is always a must, but can Darron Gibson keep his breakthrough and add another one for his account?.
Volkswagen Arena is going to be a tough test, and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Edinaldo Graffite, and Obafemi Martins will be more than willing to play their part.
